Each year, more than 6 million dogs and cats enter animal shelters across the US—often because their families face challenges they can’t overcome alone. Financial hardship, behavior issues, life changes, or a lack of resources can turn a loving home into a heartbreaking last stop at the shelter.

We believe no one should have to surrender a beloved pet when help is within reach. By addressing these root causes early on, we can keep pets where they belong—with their person—and ease the strain on an already overburdened shelter system.

Our mission is simple: provide essential resources, support, and education that helps people and their pets stay together. Through our own programming and our work alongside community partners, we aim to create accessible solutions, prevent unnecessary surrenders, and protect the lifelong bond between humans and animals.
